“Collection” can mean three different things when shopping online in Cyprus: picking up from the retailer’s shop, collecting a parcel at a courier branch, or opening a parcel locker. Before choosing an offer, check which route the retailer actually provides. A free collection option is useful only if the location and collection arrangements work for you.
Store pickup, courier pickup or a locker?

Choosing pickup does not establish that an item is ready immediately. An online order may still need to be prepared or transported to your collection point.
A Cyprus example: Stephanis shop and ACS collection
Stephanis describes shop collection and ACS collection as separate options on its Delivery & Pick-Up page. At our check on 14 October 2026, its stated shop collection was free, with notification when the order was ready. The same page listed ACS pickup as free for orders over €50, with a €5 charge for orders under €50, and excluded large domestic appliances from that route.
This illustrates why “pickup” alone is not enough information: the location and order value can change the cost. The page does not clearly resolve an order of exactly €50, so check the basket rather than guessing at the boundary. Confirm the terms for your product and selected point before ordering; these conditions are not a rule for every Cyprus retailer.
A locker example: Electroline and BOX NOW
Electroline’s BOX NOW instructions describe choosing the delivery option and a particular locker at checkout. The retailer says the service is available for selected products identified at checkout. Its published instructions also specify a collection window, so check your current order notification and do not assume a parcel will wait indefinitely.
A locker option is different from collecting from an Electroline shop. Do not substitute the nearest shop address for the locker you selected.
Does collection make a deal cheaper?
Compare the complete cost for each usable option. Here is an illustrative calculation, not a live offer:
- Retailer A: €30 product + €5 home delivery = €35.
- Retailer B: €32 product + free shop collection = €32.
Retailer B costs €3 less before considering your journey. If collecting requires a separate long trip, the smaller saving may not be worthwhile. Even when you have no fuel cost, your time and the collection location still matter. If you are already passing the shop, the decision may be different.

Five checks before placing a collection order
- Exact item: confirm model, size, colour, pack quantity and condition. The chosen variant must be available through the selected collection route.
- Exact location: record the shop branch, courier point or locker shown on the order, not just the town.
- Complete amount: check the product price, collection or delivery fee and any other displayed charges. Unknown costs are not zero.
- Collection arrangements: wait for the retailer’s ready notification and follow its instructions about reference numbers, identification, codes and opening hours.
- Deadline and support: check how long the order can remain at the collection point and whom to contact if the parcel does not arrive or something is wrong.
What to look for on Best Cyprus Deals
A local collection offer should name its collection location. A delivered offer should describe the delivery route and confirmed costs. Read the individual deal page, including the latest check date, and verify the selected option with the retailer before paying.
