A deal is useful only if the exact item is available to you at a worthwhile price. For shoppers in Cyprus, delivery or collection can change the result. Compare the complete purchase route rather than the largest percentage on an offer card.
Start with the same product
Match the model number, colour, size, pack quantity and condition. Check what is included: a product photo may show accessories or a television that is not part of the offer. Two similar names do not necessarily describe the same purchase.
Calculate the total cost
Total cost = product price + delivery charge + confirmed additional charges. If one of those amounts is unknown, label the total as incomplete rather than treating the missing amount as zero.
For free collection, record the collection location and any conditions. Compare it with another collection option, or clearly explain that you are choosing collection instead of delivery.
Product-price savings and delivered-price savings are different
A discount can be correct for the product price while overstating the difference in what you pay overall. Here is an illustrative example, not a current retailer offer:

Offer A’s product is 20% cheaper than Offer B’s product. Its delivered total is only 4% cheaper: a saving of €2. Both calculations answer a different question.
If Offer B’s delivery cost has not been confirmed, you cannot yet calculate the delivered-price saving against it.
Understand the comparison price
- Another retailer’s current price: useful when the variant and availability match. Check its delivery costs too.
- A retailer’s regular price: describes that retailer’s stated reference; it is not automatically the cheapest alternative.
- Recommended retail price: is a reference price, not proof that other buyers currently pay it.
- A recorded earlier price: is historical. Check the date and what was recorded before using it to judge a present offer.
Best Cyprus Deals identifies the comparison source where supplied. A card labelled “below comparison product price” refers to product prices; it should not be read as the same percentage saving after delivery.
Choose between delivery and collection
Local collection may be attractive if the shop is nearby. A courier pickup point can be a separate option from collection at the seller’s store. Confirm the location, opening hours and whether the displayed price requires that option.
For home delivery, check that the terms cover your actual address. If there are remote-area conditions or charges, resolve those before treating the displayed amount as a confirmed total.
Check the date and availability
“Last checked” tells you when the offer information was reviewed. It does not reserve stock or guarantee that checkout is unchanged. Recheck the selected variant and final total before buying.
An expired deal page records a past opportunity. Use its historical values as context, then follow current alternatives. An expired promotion does not, by itself, mean the product is no longer sold.
A quick comparison checklist
- Same exact product, quantity, condition and included accessories?
- Confirmed delivery to your address, or a usable collection point?
- Product, delivery and additional charges accounted for?
- Comparison price clearly identified and recently checked?
- Return route and practical delivery timing acceptable?
